Mor Dayanışma:
Purple Solidarity

The women’s organisation Mor Dayanışma was founded 2014 in the spirit of the Gezi protests in Hatay, Turkey. In the course of time, assembly centres and places have been established in many cities, in which women educate themselves, become politically active and collectively resist the patriarchal capitalist system. The women gather for workshops; they can find legal, trade union or psychological support or even make handcrafts together, which enables them to earn their own or additional income.

Since the devastating earthquakes in February 2023, our work has especially focussed on women support and self-empowerment in the earthquake region Hatay/Turkey.
